SVRFC Email Notice: 09/12/08. SVRFC Hall of Fame Class of 2008 - Inductees Announced All Active, Old Boy and Social Members,
On behalf of the Hall of Fame Committee, it is with great pleasure to announce the Scioto Valley RFC Hall of Fame Class of 2008. This year's Inductees are Art "Rookie" Arnold and Brent "Tractor Boy" Hinz. Please join us on Friday, October 3rd at the Scioto Boat Club Clubhouse (address and map link below) at 7pm to celebrate their Induction into the SVRFC Hall of Fame. There will be a small dinner w/drinks (keg beer/wine?) provided for a nominal fee. Come early and enjoy drinking and socializing on the deck overlooking the Scioto River with your old/active teammates. Please rsvp to Tony Konczak at tkonczak@checkfree.com with numbers attending, so we can get a count for food and drinks. Look for more information in the coming weeks.

Please note that there are 2 bridge closures on Dublin Rd and the only way to get to the Scioto Boat Club is to take Smiley Rd south off of Fishinger (West of the Scioto River) and follow it to Dublin Rd. Turn right onto Dublin Rd and then left onto Thoburn Rd (Devereaux Park signs). Turn right onto Indian Village Rd and follow it past the play ground parking area and then left just before the Indian Village entrance sign. Parking is limited and do not park on the left side by the orange cones marked for trailer area, so you may have to park at the playground parking area and walk over.
